Changing dates with Easyjet

Options
Flights booked for mid July and have decided to move holiday to next July. Changed villa dates to July 2021 and want to change flight dates but July 2021 dates not available until 3rd August 2020! So if I wait until 3rd August when July 21 flights are released, I've already lost my money because we will have missed our original flights! Easyjet may cancel our flights 7 days before in which case we can move them forward to 2021 at that point, but this is not looking very likely now. We can't get through on the phone line. Anyone any ideas of how I sort this out? We know we want to move to next July even if flights are going.

How is it Easyjets issue if you have chosen not to use the tickets that you've paid for ?
  • We have no choice but to change our dates - some of our party are vulnerable and therefore not happy to travel even if they are flying on that date. We want to stay with Easyjet and happy to take vouchers to rebook but I can't get vouchers until they cancel the flight - if they do cancel the flight which is now looking unlikely. Would be even happier to change the dates of the flights we have booked and pay any difference but we can't do that until 3rd August (after the date of the original flights).

Once again, why is it the airlines concern that you're choosing no to fly ?
