Well, today I weighed myself to find I have lost 3lbs, so pretty pleased with that. It gives me the incentive to carry on.......

today is the first day of my housework week. Today will be to do the lounge, hall and downstairs cloakroom.......that also includes the pile of ironing that is in the corner of the lounge :eek:

Glad you had a good weekedn Hypno - I tackled the ironing pile on Saturday !!!! Hate it but a great sense of achievement once it was all in lovely folded crease free piles !!!!

Ooh, new carpets - that really does transform a place. I bet you are really excited!

On the house decorating front - DD and DS want to update their bedrooms as they still have a bit of a childish theme - groovy chick for DD and harry potter for DS, so we spent some of the weekend searching for new themes for their rooms........

however, their rooms are about as untidy (and then some) as the rest of the house, so I have told them I will not even consider saving up for new bedding, paint etc until they have had a good clear out. I think I will keep my eyes open on freecycle for appropriate accessories etc. I am probably as excited as they are about any possible changes!!!

I have a question
If MB is so good-why do people do it for a while and then stop ?
Seems to be a lot of people doing that. Apart from the mind numbing boredom of looking for good matches-and the frustration when you keep winning at the bookies messing up available cash at the exchange are there other reasons ?
