  • Just thought I'd pop over and say :hello: and well done on the housework. I find it easier to tackle one room at a time each day, but then the kids follow me round to destroy them. I tidied DS's room up to within an inch of it's life yesterday and then he emptied THREE boxes of stuff to find ONE ball and walked off and left it   Typical man!

I'm with you on the MB restarting business, do need some extra cash and it worked well last time, also need to investigate the bingo.

Kittens sound very cute, I could send my cat round as a substitute father as he is very lonely since the other cat died - unfortunately due to cancer and not being run over hence no £1,000 :rotfl: (sorry cat lovers Hypno started it!)

Still not decided on quandry but thanks for your input, current train of thought is keep going until 0% dry up and then panic and get a loan? Who knows - not me for sure......

    Indeed :D

JB - 0%s are still not an option for us - the loan we were offered recently was at 24.9%, and that was with Barclays, who we do all our banking with!

One day I will understand why our credit rating seems so poor.......until that time, I will just envy the rest of you with your stoozing successes!!

We do each have an Egg loan, and I have found them very easy to use online. I think they are probably one of the best due to no front loading of interest, and the ability to over pay, so at least if you do decide to procede you know you are not going to be ripped off too much!

  • So, if I did decide to do the Egg Loan, what happens re the interest  Is it added on a monthly basis, me confused, never :rotfl:

I want to do it so I don't have the stress of juggling 5 credit cards which I find traumatic at the best of time but not sure if that's a good enough reason. Think I need some wine!

Yes, my understanding is that interest is calculated on a daily basis on the amount of the loan outstanding, so any overpayments have an instant impact on the interest you will be charged.

  • Good for you on the bingo front, i can't get into it at all, and have won a precise big fat nowt. Will have a look at the MBing though as it appeals to my nerdy side.

it was blackpoolclub - over on the gambling board there is a thread about it. It is a bit different to the other freebies, but hey, I won £10 so I won't complain!

I have asked for a cheque to be sent to me, as I couldn't work out where to put my bank details, so I will expect there to be problems with it, although it quite clearly says that the withdrawal has taken place, so fingers crossed!
