El, I have emailed you back!

Taxi....will go off to look at the fireplace "did-she-didn't-she" post in a minute!

Bob, I use GFK, retaileyes and grassroots - I have never used Gap, so can't help with any advice there. Have you had a look on the "up your income" board to see what they say about them over there? Mystery shopping is always a bit hit and miss though, so although no jobs for you at the moment, you may suddenly get loads of them!

Well done Hypno! And what a fabulous result! I've had tax rebates in the past and they just seem to turn up out of the blue at random times.

well, not really.....although I have submitted 2007/08 today, which is very early indeed........I have also submitted 2006/07 which was due in by 31st January :o:o:o:o

But hey, at least I am up to date now :D

That makes me feel much happier now I know i'm not the only one who usually leaves it late, lol. I need to get mine done asap as I want my accountant to sign my photo for a passport application. Went to get it done at school and the headmaster wanted to charge me £25 - i'm too mean to pay that:rotfl: . Hope you get your refund soon xx

Bob, with grassroots, you just have to log in as frequently as possible to have the best chance of getting assignments - they go ever so quickly, and it is very frustrating to see the amount of work that you miss!

Mudbath - £25 to sign the passport photo - what a cheek!! Mind you, OH has had real difficulty finding someone to certify a copy of his passport that he has had to send off this week.

As for the rebate - I will expect it when it arrives!! That is about all I can do (although I will chase them up if it is not here in a few weeks). I am just so glad that I have got it done!

Can you go for a walk or something to take yourself completely away from it for a bit. Fresh eyes and a clear head would def make that job yours!

I am still being good on my "diet" so the mere mention of chinese is giving me the shakes!!
