Not got the dongle thingy yet - they are sending it all too me so goodness only knows when it will arrive!

DS is a bit sore, but nothing that he can't manage - I don't suppose it will stop him running around at school and he hasn't said that he's not up to karate this evening.

I am sure I will be able to sneak on here once or twice during the course of the day, but not for long - I know that I have loads of work to get through at the uni today, then straight to the kids karate after that.

anyway, better go, otherwise I will be late, and that just won't do! Have a good day xx

Can I have some of the energy, I think I have hit depression mode and cant seem to get my self off of the sofa. I know that I am supposed to be resting, and on the sick at the moment, but I am struggling to even do the washing up in one hit, never mind the menu planning etc etc I was supposed to be doing today.
Supposed to be venturing out with twins and grandchildren to Oxford town today. (But nobody is awake but me!!)

Fab news about your win. I love it when the nice people win! Hope your DS is feeling much better. You're right about them being resilant. Mine was so ill last night and can now be found bouncing up and down on the sofa - I find playstation medication to be the best ever! Right, I need to stop using your diary as an excuse not to tidy! Hello!!! What is this energy you are talking about......and where can I get some of it from :rotfl:

I am helping out at the uni today on a research project - basically the woman has got herself into a flap unnecessarily so I have just come in for a few odd days and put things into some sort of methodical order. It is not exactly rocket science, and if she took a deep breath, then she could do it easily herself.

Of course her boss has just been in and asked what the "problem" is - I don't think there is one, the work is not difficult, there is just lot of it, and it needs working through methodically. The woman I am helping though, is making out as though it is all just too much, and I didn't dare say anything because I didn't want to make her look bad. Ho hum, the joys of working :rolleyes:

Mind you.....as I am typing this, I think that the same is applying to my housework and my ability to do what is not really a difficult job, but I am always overwhelmed by it. I know that this particular woman has a very very tidy house - perhaps we should trade places for a few days - she can sort out my house and I can sort out her database :rotfl:
