Too right it won't be cheap. And Pania's fees for the ferret are fairly substantial too.........

KC, the children grow out of their skis just like clothes etc, so depending on how much of a growth spurt they have had etc, means you can always sell on their "old" ones, and can often buy second hand ones to replace them with.

The ones we sold this morning though, are OH's.......he doesn't seem to *get* skiing in the same way the rest of us do, so his skis are more of the "cluttering up the place" type than "speed machine" types :rotfl: If he ain't gonna use them, then we may as well make money from them.

Thanks hypno! Its not a sport I've ever really come across properly, & certainly not got into it myself (tho I hope to go on the baby slopes when I'm debt free, and before I'm too old).

I fully agree with ZTD's attitude - they need a hard, assertive smack in the right place - i.e. the finances - if they even cause the new place to query you, let alone delay your starting your new job.

OH gets a new pair of skis every year - just because he has "contacts" - doesn't mean he can actually ski well, or even enjoys it........so the only option is to use them to raise money!

As for me.................I have been skiing for over 20 years.........only ever had one pair of my own skis, and have had to borrow for the majority of the time. Hmmmm........something not right about the "balance of skis" in the hypno household.
