Sorry to hear about the bursary, must be hard when you are all trying and working so hard.
Grr again to HSBC but yay to the compensation, infact I'm amazed they gave you £50 over the phone it would usually take a few letters at the very least so I'm glad you got that.0 -
It is so so obvious that it is HSBC's error that the embarrassment factor kicks in! I think that is why they have arranged to credit the account over the phone. However, the fact that they have called AGAIN today shows that perhaps this is not the end of the story!
Rang up barclays stockbrokers today re the 3rd account I had, and they are sending another £100 to me in the next couple of days.

sorry to hear about the bursary? any other bodies offering them?Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Hi Hypno, sorry to hear about the bursary, but congratulations on doing so well. I just have a quick bingo question - with Closer bingo, did you need to make any deposit before you could withdraw from it? xMFW

I am pretty sure I didn't win anything with closer bingo.
What I can say, though, is that everyone I won on, with the exception of Butlins Bingo, required a deposit before you could withdraw. If you had won under £30, you have to deposit to make it up to £30, but even if you win more than £30, you still have to deposit a fiver before you can withdraw anything.
Butlins bingo are the only one I won on that had a stupid wagering requirement, so I had to do some work before I could get any money out on that one.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Thanks hun, I thought it was something like that. Won £28, and had to deposit some to get it out, but all in all still free money!! xMFW

Just popped over to see how things are. Sorry about the kids, better luck next time. I have had a great day with my No 1 Daughter. Just catching up on MSE threads, but have to confess to all MSE going out of the window today, having a makeover is not cheap. Glad I wasnt paying for it all though. Mind you it restored my faith in me, I can be Cinderella afterall!!. Oh and if I wanted to they could have "airbrushed" some of my Character lines out for me, or even given me a tummy tuck if I had wanted.!! All on the pictures of course. I declined, I decided that I wanted the ones that were real, so when I looked at the pictures I could say, bar makeup its all me!.
There was no need to offer DD any "airbrushing" she looked amazing anyway.!

Payday today, and you know what that means..........loan payments come out tomorrow and the snowball can be updated :j
I have also picked up some bar overtime for the weekend - another 8 hours or so, which will be useful for the new £10 a day challenge!
