We NEVER do the lottery, but bought £10 worth of tickets for tonight, in the vague hope of winning 18 million, and won £10!!!
So break even for us!!

I spent the last £3 in my purse and don't do it either.0

Taxi, I think we have both learnt therefore not to bother with the lottery again!!
I just had the urge to go back to slice the pie to make a few extra pennies, but found that there is nothing to review. BAH!!!!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Yes, you are probably right. Oh well, I can't begrudge it going to other DFWs can I
And the urge has passed now, anyway!!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
hi Hypno and all, thanks for all the comments. I signed the lease for the house. Seems that its a monthly ongoing one, to see if we all suit each other. Its a bit scarey because leaving council that was basically my home till death do. But we need the space. I get a bedroom to myself. And we get a small garden. Just no dog.
DBF is off to speak to some friends that recently lost a dog, to see if they will have Duke.
I get the keys to the house on Thursday, and my DD1 and her boyfriend are coming over on Sunday with a borrowed Van so we can move my furnitre.
When I have to go to the Physio from then on, I only have to go on one bus, goes from just outside the house practically. Save me £10 roughly on taxi fees a week.!
Spent a bit today, DBF and I went to the house to sign the lease, and then we had a quick pub lunch, 2 meals for £6 and a couple of pints, with a bit of Change from a £10. here thats brilliant. We can pay £3 a pint each in some pubs.!!
I looked at a new shop in the centre, a QS clearance shop. But I resisted, even thought there were dresses I liked at £2!!! Even had buy 2 items get 2 items free..... But I didnt need them. I resisted. :jWhen I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

Ugh, packing? the thought of it? I think there will be a lot of stuff in black sacks, as we are only moving about 2 miles away, I hope we can just bung the stuff in the car/van and get away with black sacks for the clothes and bedding etc, and use them as packing around the delecate stuff. I will start tomorrow. DBF is coming over in about half an hour, and I have to try and clear the mess that the twins have made making their tea. At least they did try and cook a stirfry. Just wish they did make meals more often.!!When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0
