Tomorrow night, around 9 with DBF, although he wont be living with me, I really would value his opinion, as I would probably just be saying Yes yes for the space. But I am optimistic that the pros are outwaying the cons. Just cant have my dog.Biggest problem, is idea of loosing my dog. Now my bath is run. Be back in a while folks. I am excited that there is a house out there somewhere for me!! (US)

Hi Taxi! My signature has been amended to show the £1.50 difference... baby steps!!

Tomorrow I go straight from work to college so do eat a proper meal in the Mess at lunchtime, otherwise I am starved by the time I get home and too tired and too late to cook. So no money being transferred to the egg card tomorrow. However, Wednesday may well see another £1.50 debt reduction.......every little helps!!

Most ideas are from this site, one way or another - it is just a case of putting them into action!

    How are you today?

    Hi Hypno,

Your sig is impressive....you're doing really well at the £10 a day challenge AND working full time in your new job, plus pub work, ski club work and a college course, not to mention student, house and children. You must be exhausted! I 'm glad you've got a holiday factored in there. You'll need it.

Hi Verbatim - I'm sure I do no more than most people - and remember, I don't do housework!!

On a gloomy note, I see that the markets have fallen by over 5% in the last 24 hours, and this is a worldwide fall too. It could signify the beginning of a bear market or it could be just a blip.

Assuming it is a bear market it could last for a while, and this will bite throughout, we could enter recession, and I have no need to tell you what differences this can make to those with debt.

So, trying to turn this round, and be positive, I will say:

Woo hoo for the fact that I left the market a couple of years ago. I would take no delight in sitting at my desk watching screens of figures in red, with no control over them. I am in a better place than my previous colleagues right now, I am sure of that. (I slept last night, some of them won't have done.)

I will also take this as the reminder that I really need to throw every penny at my debt while I can, in order that should things get tough in the economy, I can reassess and ease off without (so much) panic. So, this is a positive thing, because it is acting as a motivator.

Phew, big thinking for such an early start :rotfl:

Have a good day everyone, today is college after work, so my long day. Will catch up later this evening xxx
