Hello! I am back. A good day at work, and strangely enough, a friend that we lost touch with about 4 or 5 years ago had his first day there too! We started work at the same place on the same day 16 years ago so bizarre to be starting on the same day at the same place today!

Hope everyone here has had a good day - I will catch up with posts once I have got dinner on the go.

Not too much detail available Karma - I have signed the official secrets act!!

Needless to say it was good to get back to work! Did a bit of induction stuff on how to lock a door and what happens in a hostage situation, and taught a couple of groups.

I think I will enjoy it!

Ah, I thought something like that might be the case. What a shame.... I like the look of the rolleyes smiley here, but it says its sarcastic, so I won't. How to lock a door, yikes, yes, thats pretty important, I think - makes me think of air stewardess courses I've seen on TV - unless they know how to close the aircraft door, they don't pass the course.

Still, they chucked you right in - a couple of lessons taught already!

Glad your first day went well in the new job. Very freaky meeting your friend there but must have been nice to have a familiar face with you on the first day.

Haha MiT!! One other positive bit of stuff though, is that I am going to try out the gym on Thursday - will be the first bit of exercise I have done since last summer, and I need to get some sort of fitness sorted in order that my trousers fit me better, and I am able to ski my socks off in March!!

I only saw my friend briefly - we did a bit of the "how to lock a door" training together. We will arrange a proper catch up in due course!!
