The two people who haven't received their orders or their money back placed their orders some months before you posted the above post and while the postage may well have been cheaper its certainly not cheaper if you don't get your goods or your money refunded.

I did report my post to the abuse team earlier today in view of the previous problems that have occurred on this thread but as CSandL and Diane have said do consider carefully before placing an order with the GF.

Hi - sorry which post did you report of yours?? I've got confused here!!!

Ok I spoke to Sarah a few nights back and told her that there are people saying they haven't received candles that they ordered and paid for 6 months back. She is not aware of any outstanding orders but she said she is going to come onto MSE to sort it out. With regards to emails sent to her, she told me she has more than 500 emails to try and plough through and has only recently got back online following computer problems and health problems. Hopefully she will come soon and be able to take it up with the people concerned.

I don't think she has intentionally tried to rip people off as she is very nice. I do hope that she comes here soon and manages to resolve any problems with you all.

I too ordered in march, and despite pm's and emails no refund/no candles I know Sarah is ill etc etc but a little email would have gone far. Now I am out of pocket and I have missed birthday etc. Shame as they are amazing candles. Please find another supplier if you want these types of candles

Couldn't agree more, the candles were fab and the communication was good until the ilness/connection problems. I too have missed events, (two christenings) and have had to go and buy extra presents to make up for this. I still have all of the emails stating that she is behind, but to date have heard nothing. Yes I also sympathise and don't want to post negative comments but we all post here to help each other. This is a money saving site not money wasting.

If you pay by Visa debit or debit card, your bank may cover non-delivery under the Visa chargeback system (ie you could have got money back via the bank who would dispute it with the seller for you).

However, there are time limits within this (120 days) so it may now be too late but could be worth a try.
