Hi Sarah,
Just wondering if there are any copyright issues on our suggestions? For example, would you be restricted from doing anything eg (as a rubbish example) Wagon Wheels?
Cheers,

Sarah,
Stop it at once!!! More lovely smells, I can't keep up! Now I'm coveting Parma Violets, Aniseed, Turkish Delight AND Sweet Pea :rotfl:
I'm glad the Smurf cheat was helpful! Years ago my daughter had a soft toy of the "baddie", I can't remember what his name is. Absolutely hideous thing it was, but she loved it!
Hope you're feeling much better this morning.

Finally out of bed on the sofa with my quilt and lucozade lol, not been sick for at least 6 hours, hurray!
Loving the cheat smurfs, my pattern just wasn't working, it just looks like a blue bear with wonky ears lol, so thanks Flea
Lily I got my burner from Evolution, they don't have many shops but hopefully there is one near you, they usually have a few burners and are quite cheap too. Or try you know those shops that sell fairtrade gifts, wood carvings and recycled pencils etc. they usually sell oil burners. Or if all else fails try The Body Shop, they have lovely ones but they come at a not so lovely price! Here's the link for Evolution....

Am loving the new ideasthank you all so much. Am going to order some tea rose, thats a fab idea thanks tine
Also saw daffodil and sweet pea oils which I will order too, have been practising making clay roses in preparation for making a mould, I'm not sure real roses will handle the weight of the silicone well but will try that first. I love the roses that are still tight not much more than a bud, I think they will work the best. If I did them as a bud I could make little cupcakes with rosebuds on the top, sweet!
Pap, anytime you wish to order will be ok, as soon as I get my wax delivery I will start on it for you and yes any fragrance you like (that I have in stock) will be fineI have so many oils in stock you wouldnt believe it!
Talking of oils, I found one upstairs called sugarplum, tis divine, sorry I missed out on using it at Christmas, am contemplating making a mould using my wee fairy design and scenting them 'sugarplum fairy'I used to make the fairies in snowglobes they looked sweet but as a candle it would have to be on colour hmmm unless I painted them.... so much whirling round in my head lol
I made a new mould of itty bitty clothes, am thinking of placing them around a pillar candle scented with clothesline or baby powder, where is this wax when i need it!!
Am still wondering how I could do battenburg lunathe square bits would be easy its the outside I'm not sure about, but the fudge idea sounds easy peasy
Now did I order enough silicone lol, maybe add another tin to that order ....
Jo i like the creme egg idea, am thinking of a way to do the inside, maybe a creme egg with the top cut off... might have to be paint though. Yum I LOVE creme eggs.
Oh oh and turkish delight I just thought.. if it was just melts... maybe I could use real icing sugar on them! I will dip an existing melt in icing sugar and see how it goes.... Turkish delight is rose and lemon? Will report back on that one
I love sharing my thoughts with you and it's top banana to get feedback, Andy likes to hear my ideas but then comes back with mental ones, his latest idea was 'how about a bacon butty candle?' Men!
Now I'm gonna do the sugar melt thing and watch Titanic, gimme half an hour and I'll be sobbing yey, nothing like a good cry to clear out the toxins
Ooh have I given you a challenge then Sarah? :rotfl:
I discovered a candle making kit I've had for quite few years, think I only made on at the time, might drag it back out, although not sure when I"ll get time to do that. Dont' know much about candle making myself, but is it possible to roll wax? I had some honeycomb type that you rolled up into a candle once. Maybe that would work for the outside of a battenburg?
Ooh another one.. swiss roll??
I guess if you make moulds those kind of things aren't as easy.
Bet your head is spinning!0 -
