Ah that makes more sense with it being the charge card - thought that was an absurd offer for the credit card!!gjpowen said:
No - I think it’s a bit of a sweetener as a lot of the benefits that come with the card thst help to justify the annual fee are useless at the moment (e.g. free airport lounge access, hotel perks etc). They are also offering double membership rewards atm - so 2 for every £ spent.jay1804 said:

If you call up and state you’re not happy with the fee and lack of access to facilities you’ll also get credited either 15k or 20k membership points.....gjpowen said:

Thanks for the tip! I tried 6 weeks ago and was offered nothing - called again now and am 20k points richer. Makes it worthwhile keeping the card for another year.D3xt3r5L4b said:

As I have had it since 2004 I am on the grandfathered deal where the BA Premium Plus Card is free - which saves me £195 a year already.1 -
