Another amex card for more offers

I have a platinum cashback card and like the offers on the app. If I get another card (say the basic one) will I get different offers, or do you ever get the same offers on both, do you can take advantage twice?

I would get some kind of reward card but I've only had the plat card a year so won't be able to take advantage of introductory offers

What if I get a basic business card instead of a personal one?

That's interesting, I appear to have all of the offers you listed just on the one card.
Does anyone have a business card, and if so do you get different offers? i.e. right now there's one for £150 off at Dell, but seems to only be on the business Platinum card

A nice new offer came through on the Amex Platinum Card on Friday:
  • Mad... is that the one with the £25 fee or the one without? I'm thinking of getting the fee free one (As I won't spend £10k+ a year), but don't know if the offers would be significantly worse?

99.9% of Platinum cardholders got this offer.

If you don’t actively shop at any of the stores listed then buy a voucher from then instead (e.g. buy a £100 John Lewis voucher from Waitrose and put it towards something in John Lewis (and get the £100 back).

No - I think it’s a bit of a sweetener as a lot of the benefits that come with the card thst help to justify the annual fee are useless at the moment (e.g. free airport lounge access, hotel perks etc).  They are also offering double membership rewards atm - so 2 for every £ spent.
Note that this is for the platinum charge card and not the credit card.

The £150 for Dell is on my regular platinum charge card - it’s not a business one.
