Drip-feed during Covid

Have recently transferred old ISA S&S to new provider - Vanguard.
This has left me with a cash lump sum I can chose how to invest.
(I assumed I’d have to select a new investment product for entire amount prior to transfer)
I plan to drip feed but unsure how for long, especially during Covid. Research shows 12 months is advisable but I’m thinking of choosing longer given the market volatility . Any advice?

On a side note, I’ve transferred the entire amount that hadn’t been paid into for few years.
I’ve also opened a second S&S account for year 20-21.
I know the transfer doesn’t count towards annual allowance but am I right in thinking I can the Drip feed the transfered lump sum into S&S account A whilst also paying into separate S&S account B?

Thanks

If you were previously invested than I don't see the logic in drip-feeding back into the market. Had you not transferred, presumably you'd have remained invested throughout. If you can buy in today at broadly the same valuations you sold for the transfer it would be logical to do so. If not, you could hope for cheaper prices in the future, but they may not materialise.
Yes you can use your 2020/21 allowance in a second S&S ISA if you like if the transfer was only of previous tax year contributions.
