Missy’s family of 4, paying off debts, saving for a house and just trying to survive!

Ah thank you @Kakiste. Good point, we have a safe I can keep it in. That’s attached to the wall, it was just something that was here when we got the house and OH keeps keys and things in it. So it’s not a worry thankfully. And it means that it’s harder for me to get to and spend.
I’ve bitten the bullet and bought a binder with the extra membership money I got. I managed to get one from Etsy which was the same price as one on Amazon but it has bespoke labels on the envelopes. So I’ve gone for:iPad/Phone
Bed
Disney+
Xmas & B-Days
Any Extras
Clothes/Shoes
Summer Holidays
Holiday
These aren’t big amounts of money, just little things that I’m hoping I will see add up, it just makes it harder for me to spend.
I promise I will also post my SOA as I don’t think I’ve done it yet.
Have a day off today. Competition went so well yesterday, we worked so well and so hard. I came 4th out of 74! So I’m not bad for an old girl!
Today is a day of recovery. I did 5 workouts yesterday all still feeling horrendously travel sick from the drive home Friday. Think it’s actually vertigo so hopefully it will go soon. I’m not doing much today, setting up an ISA, sorting clothes, placing 3 things on EBay. Shopping as I need to and I need to spend £43 in lidl to get my £10 off. Are my plans. Need to make sure I’m still on budget as everything looks all over the place. But I think it’s ok. I hope you’re all having a lovely weekend.

I’ve done it! I’ve just set up a lifetime ISA! It was so easy, I did it with £1. Thanks for the push @jwil.5

. Even if you decide to do something different it's still an option now.

Well done on coming 4th in the competition and also with opening the LISA. Opened it just in time as I think you have to be under 40 to open one.

Exactly @jwil. And yep @joedenisethats why I’m so pleased I did it, as I usually leave things that bit too late!1

I wish I had been at this point before I had turned 40. Never mind I am trying to look at other options for me.

Thank you @slm6002. Body is paying for it today!Just laying on the sofa with a cuppa. Have listed 3 things on eBay. Which I’m happy about as really didn’t want to. If I find some motivation I’ll list more later as I’ve taken photos.Am writing out my budgets, very excited about getting my binders. Just need to keep spending in check! It was so much easier on holiday as we didn’t leave the house. But now home, there’s so much temptation!3

Have also cleaned the litter tray, done a load of washing and hung it out, put the dishwasher on and generally been a bit lazy…. 😳2
