Goods that are designed for use by both disabled and non disabled persons and which are eligible for VAT relief should be advertised and sold at the VAT inclusive price and if the buyer qualifies, they can reclaim the VAT after purchase.

That's probably because I posted the wrong link!
There are two riser chairs for £649 on Amazon and I looked at both then proceeded to show the wrong one on my earlier post.

From the details section on the Amazon listing:

We advertise our products with a prcie exclusive of VAT, where applicable. Should you purchase one of these items, you will need to complete our exemption form, which will be sent to you via the messaging system or email following purchase.

So it looks like they advertise the price exclusive of vat and may possibly only sell to those who complete a form to say they are eligible.

I wonder how often people buy things from the likes of Amazon without actually scrolling down the page and reading the actual description. As mentioned , if this is indeed the correct chair (it would be nice if OP confirms) then it seems they have done nothing wrong.
