Transferring shares from Computershare

I have been receiving free shares for more than 10years while also buying extra shares through the company i work for. I would like to transfer everything to Hargreaves and Landsdown so i can have all my shares in one place. Before i start the process i would appreciate some thoughts. 
-If i transfer will my free shares still go to computershare or will they now go to HL? 
-What are the negatives of transferring away from computershare while i still work for my company?

I'd expect the terms of the share scheme to state that the company-awarded shares will be placed in an account in your name with the company's nominated body (i.e. Computershare), so doubt that they'd be able and willing to issue them to another broker.  Check with the relevant administrator within your company and if this is the case then you effectively wouldn't be able to consolidate everything (away from Computershare) until you stop receiving free shares for whatever reason.

Shares acquired via a tax advantaged employee share incentive plan must be held for 5 years before you can sell without incurring a tax liability. So they must stay with the plan administrator.
