EasyJet Compensation Rejection Advice

Options
Hi all, hope you can help.
Last summer my gf and I were on an EasyJet flight from Gatwick to Varna, Bulgaria. The flight was scheduled to depart at 06.15. Everyone was on the plane but we were told that we could not leave as we'd missed out slot with the control tower... I'm certain it was gone 10.00 when we finally left meaning that we had easily passed the 3 hour threshold...
I put in a claim a couple of weeks ago through the EasyJet website only to be told this morning that it was rejected as the delay was only 2 hours and 58 minutes... This seems very convenient and not at all how I remember it...

Is there any way to check exactly what time the flight left? Any other appeals advice would be welcomed also...

Thanks in advance...

Put your flight details into euclaim and bottonline they will tell you if you have a claim. You can only claim if your flight reached it's destination, in your case Varna more than 3 hours late if it did you will be due €400 each.

That’s a cool trick, if you are eligible and still no joy. Try an Alternative Dispute Resolution scheme (ADR), I’ve forgotten which one EasyJet is part of and will post when I find out.

The important time is the time you landed, not the departure delay.  If you took off 3 1/2 hours late but landed 2hr 59 min late there is no entitlement to compensation.

Having just tried the EUClaim site and it looks like this is exactly where my claim has failed... Our arrival must've been just inside the threshold... That is extremely frustrating...

Thank you all for your help
