Opening a HSBC feeder account

I called HSBC last Friday 22nd May about opening a feeder account for applying for BBL, I got straight through and the man (who I struggled to understand because of a strong accent) took my name, email, business address, bounce back amount requested and told me to keep an eye on my emails. It was a very quick call. I’m not sure if the phone call was the application for a feeder account or if I have to speak to somebody again about it. I haven’t had any emails from them, very confused. Has anyone any idea if that would’ve been the application for the feeder account? Thanks

I applied for a feeder account over a week ago, exactly same kind of phone call and heard nothing ..

I done the same! Just over 2 weeks ago.
Emailed Ian Stuart CEO yesterday hoping that moves things along

Ive had the same experience, they took some details and told me that I would receive a call back from them to run through more information and set up an account to access the funds. 
What I'm unsure on is why could they not have just done that there and then?

How is that going to help with getting the BBL?

I am hoping I get sent a form to open a feeder account to enable me to apply for a BBL.
Atm, I don't know if I'm on a list or if even my details for a call back are even on the system. Surely they would have a generic email to say hi, your application for a feeder account has been lodged... we don't have staff to process it but we have your details and we will get back to you type of thing!

I applied on the 5th. Spoke to a lady who took my details and said I would get a call back. Got a call on the 7th and went through all the details and signed all the paperwork online. Just got a call yesterday from the same lady saying my feeder account is now open and she is calling me today to sign for my BBL. I think i was one of the first people to apply and its taken this long. If you have just applied I wouldn't get your hopes up of it being open anytime soon

I feel exactly the same way, Im not exactly filled with confidence at the moment as I all I have is the guys word for it on the phone...

Thanks for this, obviously they are receiving a huge amount of requests for these accounts. Sounds like it could be a month or so process is applying now..

It really is all so vague, money is drying up and this was suppose to help us, they could at least send an email to confirm they’re working on something. At thr minute my anxious mind thinks maybe they’ve taken my email dowm wrong despite repeating it to me.
