Hello all,
No expert in technology im afraid but would appreciate any help possible.
I currently have a hub 3.0 from Virgin Media which works fine in all rooms except the orangery where it can be extremely hit and miss.
What is baffling me and where i need some expertise is my mobile phone and the smart tv work fine in there, yet a laptop and especially a android box i have connected to the tv just will not work buffers all the time and struggles for connections
Would you think this is requiring a WiFi extender as the virgin media app i scanned for coverage suggests all is fine..
The current hub is located at the other end of the property.

I would suggest something like this.
https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/computing-accessories/networking/powerline/tp-link-wpa4220-wifi-powerline-adapter-kit-av600-twin-pack-10153178-pdt.html?istCompanyId=bec25c7e-cbcd-460d-81d5-a25372d2e3d7&istFeedId=4d7eb93e-055f-499d-8ee5-1cdcc50d67d1&istItemId=xrlmartat&istBid=tztx&srcid=198&cmpid=ppc~gg~1014+(PLA)+NETWORKING+-+Adaptive~1014+(PLA)+NETWORKING+-+Adaptive+ad+group~Exact&mctag=gg_goog_7904&kwid=GOOGLE&device=c&ds_kids=92700053854352001&tgtid=1014+(PLA)+NETWORKING+-+Adaptive&=--present--&gclid=Cj0KCQjwn7j2BRDrARIsAHJkxmw80Nizv_8hTIrb84Vq2spsFkLQoqHuaiQezb4gwQx6Ts_e0DXC6YAaAhPUEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
You can then connect the android box with an ethernet cable.
Similar items are made by Dlink, Netgear and others.
