    I would say them waiting to fully reopen is fair - the quality control staff etc might be on furlough until this time. :)

    Are you saying you have the same carpet and underlay in the hall and on the stairs, and there it's ok?

    The carpet in the hallway and stairs was 30% cheaper and looks fine

    this is what my £4000 tapi carpet looks like after 6 months and waiting for 5 months after i had paid for it for them to fit it for me
