Lastminute.com. What should we do?

Hi,
We have a holiday booked with Lastminute.com flying from Manchester to Malaga on the 29th July at 9.55am, one week hotel stay and then return to Manchester on the 5th August at 17.35pm. Both flights are with Ryanair. Unfortunately the outbound flight at 9.55am as been cancelled although Ryanair have a later flight at 20.00pm the same day and one at 18.05pm on the 28th. There is also an Easyjet flight at 6.10am on the 29th. We have yet to receive any emails from either Lastminute or Ryanair regards the cancellation. However, when logging into Ryanair it's obviously there and it states Get refund or Change flight. Our preference being able to change the flight.
What we would like know is. Because the flight is still 2 months away how long will it be before Lastminute contact us? Do we need to wait for Lastminute to contact us? If so will these flights be fully booked by then? Or if we change the flight now ourselves would that be a breach of contract with Lastminute thus voiding a refund?
At the moment there is no way to contact Lastminute either email or phone.
We have never booked through Lastminute before so we don't know the procedure.
Many will say we shouldn't of booked via Lastminute but hey-ho we just need some advice please.

Personally I wouldn't be changing it, LM from what I'm reading on here are handling things very badly.
I don't know how it works, but could see a risk, if you change the flight then old one will be marked as cancelled, if this is linked to the hotel booking, this could also trigger a cancellation.

Yes the holiday was paid for in full when booking. Fortunately we paid with credit card and also the insurance DOES cover coronavirus.Butts said:

It's just so frustrating. I know because we booked with LM that's what you get but we're really worried that it'll be very last minute( no pun intended) before we hear anything if at all!!

Yeah we do. We are quite relaxed about the coronavirous situation but that doesn't mean we're complacent. However, we believe that all being well that the end of July should be fine.Life__Goes__On said:

Have you checked prices of other holidays for your dates?
As you could start a claim for a cancelled holiday ( using Ryanair's flight cancellation as proof),
if you get your money back, book another holiday.

That would be our intention, yes. But how long would it take to get the money back? As to book another holiday this is what we'd need!Life__Goes__On said:Have you checked prices of other holidays for your dates?

If you paid via card start a Chargeback, stating you holiday has been cancelled.ADIE2805 said:
