Which company are these jobs with? I've not seen anything on the boards - maybe I wasn't quick enough, but that wouldn't be the first time!!

I agree with the above regarding the coffee shops are they via gap?

With regards to BT, my g/f complained straight to the CEO (ben.verwayen@bt.com) and now his office deal with her complaints / queries.

They are excellent, the indian call centre must save them a lot of money, but then work out costs, customer satisfaction etc, it makes the whole exercise worthless.

That's what I did! Except mine started before he came on the scene - I was complaining to the last guy!

I have chairman's office phone numbers if anyone ever needs one.... :D

That's really good. I moved in August last year and I haven't had a correct bill yet, they keep doing stuff wrong then apologising but it never gets put right. They sent me a free upgrade to a wireless router in compensation when it all first started, but no adapter to use it wirelessly so when I complained they sent one out...... then charged me for it! That was just the beginning. Can't go into it all here but let me tell you it's been a real struggle to get it all right. I was speaking to the chairman's office and they couldn't even sort it our properly!

And yet I've had no problems with BT Broadband whatsoever

In fact after having dealings with both AOL and Tiscali in the past BT are an absolute dream.

Saying that though, I was a bit cheesed off when the only time I had to ring for support went to an Indian call centre. I normally refuse to have any dealings with any companies who use offshore call centres, and as I dealt with a person in the UK when I signed up, I just presumed that BT didn't use overseas call centres.

Maybe I was just being naive

Most companies sign you up in the UK then as soon as you're on contract, they export your expertise!

Do you mean Amber Arch? They email out jobs when they become available, once a month usually...

EDIT: to answer your question, no I don't think there is the online facility.

They have said that they want to move their work online at some future point but they will let us know when they do this.

Let's just hope they don't go the same software company as RE!
  • Went to do a phone shop for RE yesterday and the shop was closed for refurbishment. Closed last week and doesn't re-open for another 2 weeks!!

I've emailed them and sent them photos of the store but no doubt I will still be penalised for failing to submit a report.
