Sarah J after my post my BT went down again. We need our broadband connection to get jobs so after the rant the other day about not being paid I went onto BT. Told them the producer from BBC watchdog was coming to my house to interview me in front of my screeen saying "Cannot connect to the POP server" "Cannot connect to the internet":mad:
Well they believed me and now I am the owner of a free BT HUB :T and a rebate for my last 4 months charges.
That's really good. I moved in August last year and I haven't had a correct bill yet, they keep doing stuff wrong then apologising but it never gets put right. They sent me a free upgrade to a wireless router in compensation when it all first started, but no adapter to use it wirelessly so when I complained they sent one out...... then charged me for it! That was just the beginning. Can't go into it all here but let me tell you it's been a real struggle to get it all right. I was speaking to the chairman's office and they couldn't even sort it our properly!0 -
GFK phone jobs are making me millions at the minute!
I've accepted no end of train ticket ones, all at reasonable pay and they're calls which don't have to be recorded.....0 -
Timmne, can I ask you how long your kit took to arrive for the coffee jobs?
I've got two booked for Sunday, yet so far mine hasn't arrived - I'm just hoping it comes today!
I know it still could arrive by tomorrow, but if it doesn't that's quite late to cancel......0 -
It was with me the day after I spoke to someone about joining the coffee scheme, so you shouldn't be waiting for long!0

To be fair if you have to cancel a job becasue the MS company hasn't supplied you with the equipment in time they can hardly say that's your fault :rolleyes:0 -
Also if you can reschedule it to later in June, you'll be waiting less time to be paid for the jobs, therefore out of pocket for a shorter period of time!0

I agree with the above regarding the coffee shops are they via gap?
With regards to BT, my g/f complained straight to the CEO (ben.verwayen@bt.com) and now his office deal with her complaints / queries.
They are excellent, the indian call centre must save them a lot of money, but then work out costs, customer satisfaction etc, it makes the whole exercise worthless.0
