Yes, if the give you an allowance to spend £5 then all they will reimburse is that, but if you spend less than £5 they will only refund your spend amount.Sealed pot Member target £200 - No. 151

I am not a happy bunny this afternoon.
Before Xmas, I accepted a Phone shop job at Bluewater and was told it was Unit L034. I went, to find that L034 is empty. I explained this to GFK and I was still paid as I'd made a special journey to do it.
So, this week I'm down to do the same shop. I emailed GFK earlier in the week, explained what happened before Xmas, and asked them to double check the unit number. They replied saying they had spoken to the store and they are definitely L034. So I assumed they must have moved into the empty unit since I was there last.
So off I go this afternoon. Once again, a special journey to Bluewater to do the assignment. L033 is the Disney Store. L035 is the Body Shop. There is an EMPTY UNIT IN BETWEEN THEM which, according to all the Mall maps on display, is unit L034.
There is a branch of said phone shop further down the Mall, on the other side, at L052. I didn't do the shop there as it wasn't the address on my brief.
What would you have done in this instance? (Apart from send a !!!!!! off email to GFK which I have just done)We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Ooh er! I hope they pay you again otherwise I would be really mad!! Maybe tryto ring them or ask that they ring you before they give the job to you again!!Sealed pot Member target £200 - No. 151

Hello,
Need a bit of help as im getting really confused and mystified. I have been doing assignments for Gap since last July and have regularily doing my local computer store a few times a month. All of a sudden all these shops i assign to myself are being rejected and having read the brief it seems that they have now changed the conditions to 'you cant shop the same site twice in a row regardless of month' this was getting to be quite a good earner - and boy have i managed to stack up a good stock of printer paper !!! Have the rules just been changed ??
Really annoyed about this as the next nearest shop for me is over 30 miles away and unless i do other stores i wont be able to do my local store.
Do you think its worth emailing Gap for clarification, i know they are not the best at responding to emails.

No, TBH, I wouldn't bother emailing them. They do change the rules quite often tho. Sometimes for a pizza place you can't do 2 in a row and then other times it doesn't seem to matter. Think you may have to grin and bear it.
Look on the bright side at least they haven't decided they no longer need your services, as happened to another shopper before Xmas, for no apparent reason, they just said something about changing people regularly etc.
After that I reckon anyone's time may be limited and enjoy it while you can.0 -
Hi
Can anyone help?
I've applied three times (over several months) to join gap and have never heard anything back from them at all.
Am I unusual, too old, not qualified enough, doing something wrong on the application?
Anybody else had this?
I work a lot for several other companies with no problems.:A NI FEIDIR ACH LE DIA BREITHIUNAS A DHEANAMH ORM0 -

I've just completed my first Pizza assignment for GAP, have gone through their WebExpress form, but nowhere did it ask for me to upload the receipt.
Have I done something wrong, or do they not require them for this merchant...Andy Corbett0 -
It should ask for it after you have submitted the assignment.0
