I have just signed up with Gfk, but how does it work with the allocations, do they often post jobs online, or do you get email alerts, do they call you, or what? When I check online there are no jobs available atm. Or do you get access to more jobs the longer you have been with them?0

Yep - but it's not me cancelling jobs as I haven't done anything for them so far! Only registered recently so hopefully there'll be something in this area soon.0 -

They e-mail you 9/10 times. Occasionally they call, but in my experience this tends to be for the merchandising and auditing. When you get an email you log in and the jobs are listed (specific to your area), you can either accept it, decline it or leave it to see if you change your mind.:D0 -

You get email alerts telling you new jobs have been put online.
You self allocate online.
Sometimes you get phone calls asking you to do jobs that need shopping within the next few days.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

Hi everyone!
I have another question....
I have been given a supermarket job on Optimum Contact that needs to be done "Mon-fr 5pm-8pm" but it doesn't say which date and hasn't allocated or asked me to choose one - all it says on the site is that its "due by" 18th June. Does that mean I can choose my own date/time as long as its a weekday and is between 5-8?

(Q) Were you given a leaflet? My answer = YES
(Q) What leaflet were you given? My answer = NAME OF LEAFLET
(Q) Was it correct? My answer = Yes - the leaflet number and validity date were correct. (Although how am I meant to know if the validity date is correct??? It doesnt tell me anywhere in the brief!!)
And it won't accept it!
I'm now trying different combinations of answers for that question to see what it will accept and will have to explain it in the "Any comments" section at the end.
I think I had exactly the same one as you, though the questionnaire was completely wrong then, and now I can't enter it at all cause they cancelled the job even though I have done it, oh and surprise surprise no response to my emails.
On a plus note I signed up for GfK and got my first job today, they pay soooo much better than GAP for the same kind of work0 -

Hiya tractorgirl
As I've previously posted, I've never done a gap job but I'm on there regularly looking and today they posted some info that tells people not to bother getting leaflets anymore for these kind of visits. I would double check their home page if I were you....Gala bingo wins £70!!! mystery shopping earnings: £0

This is on my email at the bottom (if you scroll through all the bumf):
Assignments can be completed any time between the 1st of the month in which the allocation applies, and the due by date.

Hi Sinderella,
I've applied for two of those 'test' jobs - are they difficult jobs? And do they take long?
Ta:rolleyes:0
