Cheesecat I've replied before asking them how much they're going to pay me to reply to their email. I agree with you, I would explain fully any negative comments if I had anywhere to do so - they either want them or they don't!
When I asked how much they're going to pay me, I never got an answer and still got paid - they obviously knew who was being a little needy!0 -
Thanks for that information Timmne - I was worried because it said if I didn't reply within 24 hours they would send out the assignment to someone else and not pay me!
They haven't responded today anyway so I hope its okay - time will tell :rolleyes:Proud meowmy of four fuzzy cats0 -

No news is probably good news with gap0 -
I don't think I had an email from gap comfirming they received my assignments, should I have? they were last week.
I did my first RE job yesterday and filled in the assignment. Waiting impatiently for them to check it and tell me I can accept some more jobs! how long does it usually take?0 -
Well someone from Gap phone my house phone last night just before I got home from work and told my other half that they would call back in 30 mins. I waited in for them and they never phoned, and they haven't emailed. So whatever they wanted can't have been that important!0

They would have just wanted to shift a crappy job onto you and offer you an extra couple of quid.... They must have found someone in the meantime.
A trick I use to get them off the phone (begging) is to ask them to call back in an hour - by then they'll have found someone so I don't have to deal with it!0 -

That's excellent!:rotfl:0 -
Gap's response seems to have got worse recently. They have stopped sending confirmation emails (although they didn't warn us). You often have to wait ages for a response when you send an enquiry, and you're not "allowed" to phone them, so if you have query for the same day, there's not much chance of clarifying it.
Worse still, whenever you give a negative report, you get these emails asking for confirmation, as if they don't trust you! One time I actually got to speak to someone about this, I made the point that for a fee that might be as little as £4, we don't want to spend additional time "confirming" what we have already put in the report - it's insulting.0 -
Had my gap burger today - got my reciept and settled back in my chair to watch the show and........ nothing! I am obviously not special enough!!!! most disappointing. lol!0

Did you forget to chuckle and wink after you'd asked? Did you forget to look at your watch repeatedly and tut when they give you anything?
It all adds up and makes for an award winner!!
(Until the manager follows you into the toilet and ask you if you're OK when standing at the urinal - this was my last gapburger job!)0
