Dazzieboo the Floodle list has been around along time I think. Becles I am sure you mentioned it to me last year or the year before, can you remember?

I was curious about the Ebay sellers lists, so I bought one for 99p, it wasn't the Floodle one like your friends Dazzieboo, it had a company list which wasn't extensive, but it did have information on all the Mystery Shopping forums available and the seller gives a point of view on each one, so I presume the seller is a member of all the MS forums. I wouldn't suggest buying a list because the information is readily available if you spend some time and do some searches, however the MS forums are a little more difficult to track down and like the companies you need to be a member of most of them to keep up to date with any new developments. We did get a surge of members when one seller advertised a list, I presume it would be the same for MSE, they are also on the list of forums. One member said it was the best 99p they had spent and it had opened up a whole new career for him. As a regular visitor to most of the forums and signed up to a lot of companies , hes always busy.:o

I know some on the list have either changed hands or don't exist anymore. There is just one that I heard negative things about: The Macpoooooooodle site, ALLEGEDLY some shoppers did not get paid when things went down.

Leila, just for your own safety I would disguise this name, and maybe change 'apparently' to 'allegedly' (which seems to work for Ian Hislop :rotfl: ) just in case your comment could be construed as libellous. I promise I am posting this in a positive helpful spirit!!! :D ...

and I was interested to hear it, as I did do some work for them many years ago (in fact it was the first MS I ever did!!!) - it took months and months to get paid...........:o

I'm a student (6th form, not university) and have just turned 18. I'm quite interested in this Mystery Shopping as I (desperately) need some extra cash. I only have a small waitressing part time job and have never dealt with tax before. Would I have to deal with it all and if so, would it be worth the bother?

They do pay (although from memory i have had to wait quite a long time in the past) - BUT my bank acc gives me no hint that the payment is from them - it just says BACS transfer! Are there any of these in your bank account???? :p

    Here we go again :rotfl:

I don't understand what's so funny - I read the first post in detail and know all the companies I could work for, I was meerly asking if any were to be particularly reccomended. I am an established mystery shopper who has successfully completed lots of mystery shops but almost exclusively for one company and who wishes to spread their wings a bit. I used to post on a previous version of this thread when it was on the DFW part of the forum. I thought I'd asked a simple question and I don't feel there's any need to be rude.

Thank you to Leila1, I'm not looking for full time work, I like the work I do for TNS and feel if I'm making the effort to go self employed to carry this on I should add some others too, perhaps I didn't explain what I wanted to know fully. I'll apply to a few other companies on the list and see what happens.

You personal shop log shows if you have been paid (or at least if BARE think they have paid you...).

I had to chase up one payment that was missed, it was sorted very quickly.

Hope it is not for too much.

I took it off, thanks for the advice. I did not want anyone to get caught. It is all over the internet though.
