Unless rules have been relaxed due to the ongoing circumstances, which I doubt.The low deposit option can confuse - it is only a partial payment of the full deposit, the balance of that is still due, thereafter the full balance of the holiday/cruise.If you cancel then you are still responsible to pay the full deposit, not the low deposit only, that's irrespective of any cancellation fees.See last para. here - https://www.tui.co.uk/destinations/info/low-depositIf you cancel with 70 or more days notice then only the deposit is lost, thereafter the sliding scale kicks in, as per the link below.The deposit scenario should be explained by shop staff if you book in store - and I believe there is a "tick box" requirement to confirm understanding Ts&Cs for online reservations.
