DBCL letter of enforcement

i currently have a claim going on with dcbl which I have submitted my defence for (as at today dbcl are yet to respond) however today I’ve received a letter from dcbl stating that I have to pay by 2nd June a completely different amount and with different court reference. There is a judgement date on the letter but I’ve had absolutely no correspondence for this until today. I’ve never received any letters regarding this amount or court letters and not sure where this has come from or what I should do. Any help would be massively appreciated!

I can see you have rwo other threads going , unless you state otherwise we must take the above to be a default CCJ
disapointingly DCBL seem to be breaking many laws - or rules , they are chacing you within 31 days of the CCJ , and secondly , they are (as normal) throwing two fingers up to UK goverment who stated that debt collecrion wih bailiff support was band until covid d was sorted
IS THIS FOR A DEFAULT CCJ , and your previous case(s)4 -
I've just checked my credit report and have a CCJ, so assuming this is what you mean by default CCJ? This is completely unrelated to my other thread. I had a court claim for a completely separate amount and have taken all the relevant steps to fight that one (currently at the stage where my defense is submitted and no response received).0

quote from your other post : With a Claim Issue Date of 6th April, and having filed an Acknowledgment of Service in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Monday 11th May 2020 to file your Defence. That's three weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute.
sounds like they did not get it , or they lost it
you need to contact the court on tue moen to find out what happened4 -

in which case you need to contact court on tue morn , find out WHICH cases this belongs to ,and why relivent paperwork needed to defend was not fowarded to you
I agree , the dates look wrong , the ccj was granted on 23/04/20 , however your other case you were suposed to return paperwork by 11th May 2020
dont put it past this lot to send paperwork to old addess or simply wrong address , you need full info from court inc copy of origional court papers showing date and address
be aware , in a matter of days DCBL could and probably will come kocking , and clamping cars , so you need to act FAST , as well as sorting a setaside aplication , you also need (dont know right phrase) "stay of warrent " ASAP !!!
not a lot you can do till tuesday , and you have little time to act (02/06/20 )3 -
Is the other case also about Observices?
Have they used a different/old address for you, for this one?
Did you get a court claim for this one? You are going to have to quickly apply to the court for a set aside of this CCJ if you received no claim for this one, and tick the box to ask a court for a stay of execution as well (to stop this being enforced).
This will be a N244 with a witness statement and draft order like in the set aside threads linked in the NEWBIES thread.

Did you move addresses between two separate sets of parking tickets? OBS writing to the first address for the first tickets, then to a newer address for the second tickets. All the court documents will have been sent to the address current at the time of the issue of the tickets. Likely the reason for not knowing about the court proceedings highlighted above. As the DCBL process is pretty much entirely automated is unlikely to have been any attempt to find if the address to which they wrote (for the CCJ tickets) was current, and there would be nothing to link the fact that they had two sets of court proceedings against you. That's roboclaiming writ large for you. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

The letter received (pictured) is my current address, however at the time of getting the parking tickets I was living at another address so believe they must have issued letters regarding this claim to the old address? but yet they've issued a separate claim (in my other thread) to my current address and also this letter?
No, I haven't received anything for this one other than the letter of enforcement.
Ok great thankyou, I will get this done immediately
