Sad that nothing has improved with regard to LISA transfers in the more than 2 years this thread was opened. HL still have the same "Unfortunately, we can’t currently accept transfers from other Lifetime ISAs." message. EQi is now part of ii and closed to new customers. That leaves just Nutmeg and AJ Bell. Neither allow transfers for over 40s. The limited number of LISA S&S providers is one thing but the complete inability to transfer for over 40s does not seem right. Once you pass 40 you're stuck with your provider and have to put up with increasing charges with the only option being cashing out incurring a penalty above just losing the bonus and the opportunity cost of having used the common S&S ISA.

Sorry to dig out this thread - does anyone know if anyone now accepts s&s lisa transfers after age of 40??? Wish to move from EQI if possible…
Why, EQI only charge 0.2%, that's £10 on £5,000 plus they do regular investing on funds cheaply, sure the website is not the clearest but who cares all the functionality is there and it works
