Asda do the polish meats in their deli '2 for £3' bit - you don't get a great deal and it is pre-sliced so don't know if that's a deciding factor??
I'm so sexy it's a wonder my underpants don't explode.
  • Hi, does anyone know of any Baltic (Latvian preferably) food shops in Kent? I'm attempting to do a food hamper for my Dad (who is Latvian) for Christmas to bring back fond memories of his home country. He has a fondness for tinned sprats, which are a bit of a speciality over there but I would love to find some more unusual things as well. Thanks

Not in East Anglia, I'm afraid, although there are many Polish people here.
My hope is that someone opens a Polish butcher's shop around here soon.
    Maybe in Norwich or Yarmouth.

Is there a local Polish club near you? In my home town of Bedford we used to go the the Polish House where they sold food, it was cheaper than supermarkets.

I love my Polish food, mmm making me hungry now
