I'm currently have the free AVG for a VPN and was wondering is this one ok or are there better ones. I ideally want one that is good for several devices. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I use OpenVPN, which is free.
It may not be suitable for you though, since you haven't said what you want a VPN for.Proud member of the wokerati, though I don't eat tofu.Home is where my books are.Solar PV 5.2kWp system, SE facing, >1% shading, installed March 2019.Mortgage free July 20231 -
For what purpose ??Work should pay for this .You may have a VPN with your AV suite already .0

My employer had some very definite views on this with serious consequences. They supplied the hard ware and software and we used that diligently. We did not use any software not approved and rolled out through their systems.
Of course other employers might not be so strict (and it was with good reason).0 -
