It's funny the things 'the post LBM me' gets excited and annoyed by. Yesterday I thought I'd wasted £3 on something I ordered and was unable to pick up which annoyed me so much. In the past I would have thought nothing of putting £300 on a CC. Excited to get one of my cards well below 50% utilisation on pay day later in the week. First time in a long time on this AMEX that has been hanging over me too long.
Pay day coming up and looking forward to becoming sub-£8k First time ever this month that I have been within budget and not reached for a credit card at the end of the month. Itching to get this done!
Thanks @Naomim - thought twice about takeaways, I actually gave myself a bigger budget for daily spends but then 'rewarded' myself if I underspent with overpayments on cards.
Can't quite believe it's been a year since updating. It's been a slow and steady year but as of today, I'm under £3k, and just have one credit balance. Could have been more aggressive with this and now just want to get the last bit gone! Any tips??
So it's crept up after a spendy summer... it seems like because the bills are manageable I'm struggling for motivation to get the last bit paid off. Is it worth it as it's 0%? Need some encouragement! The other thing that's getting me is the easiness of the flex function on Monzo - it feels like free money but I know it's not

CC1 (0% until July): £1200
CC2 (0% until July): £1190
CC3: £2820
CC4: £2755
CC4 is highest interest so overpaying as much as possible, but if I keep on track, the 0% will be paid off by July too
