  • Finally I seem to have been offered a few (albeit minor!) BT cards. I've also bitten the bullet once more and cut up the trusty AMEX that's been haunting me. So, with a money transfer to pay off my PayPal Credit (this one's been really annoying me) and a BT to take a big chunk of AMEX away it feels good. These transfers will both be paid off in 6 months. Current plan is to hit sub £5k by end of June...
  • So PayPal now on £0 - I hate how these payments take ages to process and so glad to have cleared this with MT money that's on 0%.
    Current totals (now sub 10k!)

    £1200 on 0% CC1
    £1200 on 0% CC2
    £2800 on Lloyds
    £4500 on AMEX

    Total now £9700

  • If I keep going this aggressively then July 2021 is possible...
  • I'm still being strict with myself - posting to try to keep accountable. I transferred 'spending money' to monzo on payday, but every time I have a NSD I transfer my daily budget to AMEX CC to chip away. Feels so good to be in single figures for first time I can remember. Lack of opportunities to spend, and shifting shopping to Aldi have both helped massively on this final strait.
  • Doing some spreadsheet work... DFD of 25 July still definitely possible. For the first time (ever?!) I've stuck to groceries budget this month. One more C&C at Aldi to pay and it'll be within budget by 2p!! Can't say it's been that easy but with careful planning it's possible. Continuing to pay down as I can... every time I have a NSD I chip a bit more off.
  • Does anyone know how long balances take to get reported to ClearScore? Checked my new score today - it's gone up a tiny but, but debt total is still what it actually was in November and there's about £3k to come off!!
  • Sorry can’t answer the question but what fantastic progress!! Well Done!!
