Yes, easing lockdown does not men going back to what was normal. We will have new 'normal'  of social distancing for a long time to come.
Poolside , sun beds will be limited and spaced out.
Restaurants , both abroad and in this country,  will have less tables all spaced apart.
You , as an adult, are responsible for maintaining your own social distancing.

Could this be the end of the hotel buffet as we know it??   All those shared serving utensils!!
How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 3.24% of current retirement "pot" (as at end December 2025)

In the short term I would think so.  If and when effective treatment or inoculation is available things may get back more to the old normal.

Or they might have staff serving the food a bit like when you used to have to queue in a works canteen and you handed your plate across and the person serving put on what you requested ,they could wear gloves and only they would handle the utensils.

I see many long queues for everything, everywhere being our new normal!!   Along with more expensive holidays.

In every setting, I personally, will be making a time/benefit analysis before joining a queue, whatever the purchase, not just on holiday.

One great positive of doing away with self service buffets is not being shoved out of the way by people who believe that queueing only applies to other people.

hi does anyone even know if it’s possible for jet2 to make us go on this holiday to Gran Canaria on the 25th June 2020, they are still maintaining that all holidays will resume on the 17th June, I spoke to one of their employees the other day and she said if I cancel I will lose 70%of my £2400 I paid them or I can transfer to next year but no refund as all holidays are still going after 17th June!! Is this just a game of chicken they are playing to try and keep the money. Don’t wether to wait a couple of weeks and see if they cancel to get a refund, any advice would be appreciated
Jet2 not restarting until 1st July.
