This summer seems like a write off, with a few exceptions eg: France there is no quarantine. Greece is making a lot of noise about gearing up to accept tourists from July 1st.
The majority though will be looking to stay in the UK this summer according to several polls I've seen.
Is 2021 a reasonable aim, this will still be pre-vaccine presumably. I know none of us know what the future will hold but it will be interesting to hear peoples though. Especially if in the medium term air travel might become more expensive as the capacity & competition will be reduced (though in the short term prices might be low as companies look to seek rapid cash injection before then increasing as capacity is reached.)

We would like to do a big holiday next year, but I'm not going to think of booking until travel is back up and running and a bit more idea of how it's all going to work. I accept leaving it later to book may push the prices up, but we want a memorable holiday before the children are too grown but for the right reasons not the wrong ones.
So I'll be sitting tight, but appreciate if everyone took this line then travel would grind to a halt. I think you just need to go by your risk appetite as theres not going to be a consensusMake £2023 in 2023 (#36) £3479.30/£2023

I'm twitchy about getting away asap as well as we want a holiday but don't want to pay through the nose if the demand spikes.
