Broken mobile under guarantee

Part of the Furniture First Post Combo Breaker
Hi, I've got a tesco mobile that is only 4 months old but has stopped working. It's been a bit battered and bruised but only stopped working today. I rang but was told over the phone if there is any visible sign of damage then it counts as a break so doesn't fall within the 12 month guarantee. Is this worth appealing and how would I do that please? Just wondered if anyone could kindly offer me some advice

    No if its damaged .
A guarantee/ Warranty is not your Consumer Rights .
However with a damaged phone that may be more difficult  . First port of call is the vendor and return under Consumer Regulations .

I imagine it's probably difficult at the moment with the current lockdown measures but if you were able to get a report to say that any damage to your phone isn't linked to the phone stopping completely then it might help?
It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.
