I don't recall suggesting the JBLs are defective but have said they are unfit for my purpose. I also confirmed they were not sold as a set. Unfortunately I assumed that wireless ear buds would work with a Bluetooth device - how wrong I was.Ditzy_Mitzy said:Just out of interest, too, would the headphones really be considered 'unfit for purpose' simply because they are incompatible with one particular music player? I presume, from what's been said, that the headphones would work properly when allied to another, compatible, music player and, from that, would think they aren't defective goods in the true sense. There's been no suggestion that the items, the music player and headphones, were sold as a set or advertised as being compatible with each other specifically. They are fit for purpose, you proved then when you tested them with two phones and they worked fine. It's just that they are not fit for your purpose when it comes to the walkman.2 -
But they do work with a Bluetooth device, you've said they work with your phone.SeymourButtz said:

You could equally claim and wrongly so that the Walkman is unfit for your purpose.2 -
