Might be worth waiting half an hour in case their advice changes, given that they say,

We've found them to be really helpful whenever our travel plans were disrupted in the past, (for example, unexpected Spanish crossing cancellations due to mechanical failure- which has happened twice!) so, subect to what their website says about sialings from 15th June this afternoon, I'd try contacting them again - I assume when you say you emailed them, and got the "45 days delay" reply, you used

?
I'd be optimisitic given their FAQ promise which says,
"When will passenger services resume? It’s too early to give a precise date at present. A resumption of services can only take place once we have the green light from national bodies and the ability to operate services we consider compliant with WHO recommendations for life during the COVID-19 outbreak....
and...
I'd like to change my travel plans for this year' "All our tickets are flexible and ... In recognition of the current situation, we’re also offering customers the chance to amend sailings free of charge (although fare increases will still apply) for a limited time. Please note this offer cannot be backdated".

I'm sure that they will sort you out; we and several friends have already pushed our bookings for ferry holidays to Spain back to September- in hopeful expectation that the FCO advice not to travel will have changed, and/or that Boris will have dropped the daft quarantine regs by then and that Spain will let us in.
If not, I bet BF will let us defer again; and even if you can't travel this year, I'd look at their accommodation - inclusive holidays for next year. Their hols, especially if booked during their usual Nov or Dec early booking 20% discount window, are brilliant value (unlike their slightly toppy Ferry only prices). So it's maybe worth accepting a voucher?
Good luck and Bon Voyage
