without having to look at the ingredients list on every drink on the shelf, can anyone recommend a few drinks they know dont contain the stuff?
i know coke doesnt although i shouldnt drink too much of it... but what about squash drinks? every robinsons drink i see says 'no added sugar' which usually means it has aspartame.
i know i could just drink water but i find i will drink a lot more if i add something to it such as squash!
maybe pure fruit juice 50/50 with water could be an idea??0 -
i have to agree tesco diet lemonade is vile. i am not that fussy about what lemonade i drink but that one is seriously yucky, i don't know if they changed the recipe lately it used to be ok0

Another vote for Tesco Diet Cola here, it's got a slight hint of lemon about it which is really nice if drunk straight out of the fridge. It is not so nice warker, but then that could be said for most cola/coke.Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

If your trying to avoid aspartame then go for Sainsburys they have a no aspartame policy on their own brand stuff. We use there stuff for that reason.
My favorite own brand pop is Sainsburys own cola (not the basics one). It has no aspartame and tastes good.2013 Free Money - £363.44 Topcashback

We buy the tesco diet cola too and I really like it. Hubby gets the small bottles for taking to work with him. So cheap. Would never pay the price for the proper stuff now!! The diet lemonade used to be nice too but now its horrible!

We buy Sainsburys no added sugar ginger beer and cloudy lemondade, think these are sweetened with sucralose? (I'm at work and the cans are at home so can't check right now))

The closest thing to healthy in squash is probably Asda own brand no added sugar high juice. They contain sucralose instead of aspartame and acesulfame-K. We stopped drinking the Tesco own brand stuff because we were getting side effects  in the form of night-time thirsts! Making your own cloudy lemonade can be very economical - just water, lemon juice and something to sweeten, perhaps fructose (fruit sugar).Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0
