    So tentatively positive news. I've had three different SLT come in this week to tell me what a great job I'm doing so I thought I'd go in assertively and ask about my payrise. The head has agreed it in theory but it needs to go up to the governors and be approved.. However one of the governor s is the one who I did the fake Ofsted deep dive with two weeks ago (which I smashed out the park) so feeling quietly hopeful.
    They've not got a figure in mind just 'a pay range' which is £29,000-£37,000 so I've assertively pitched for £35,000 and backed it up with a  lot of evidence and the head said he would put that forward for consideration. If they did agree a 35k figure that would give me over £600 a month extra!
    So nothing is finalised but at least I didn't get knocked back with 'oh but it's been a difficult year for budgets' So far, so good. :smiley:
    Bottom line;
    £49k paid off
    Car HP paid off
    Debt Free!
    Saved Escape fund and moved out.

    Current focus; saving Emergency fund

    Good luck with the payrise Kakiste.  That would be an amazing amount extra to have.

    Thanks. :smiley: Tbf even if get onto the very beginning of that payscale it would still be an extra £300 from what I'm on now. But in the past I've been stung by accepting pay rates as if They've been set in stone  and my husband has always done incredibly well by negotiating his pay so I figured that the worst they could say would be 'No.'
    Sold another sewing commission last night so moved the £20 to my EF this morning.

    Well done on earning extra. I’m really struggling with prolific at the moment. Not getting many surveys and I’m not getting much chance to check either. I have so many cushions to make at the moment, so trying to make them and also trying to do my caravan up so I can move my sewing stuff into there and then sort my bedroom out. Still need to do the housework and feed the kids as well. There’s just not enough time in the day!

    You're so right! This school term was 7 and a half weeks long for us and it's draaaaged. But now we're just over 2 weeks until the finish it's suddenly sped up and all the data entry, reports, plannin and setting up files for next year hasn't even been started and now I'm worried we'll run out of time.
    I've learnt to keep prolific open and propped up on my phone whenever I'm on planning time at work or sewing at home and that way I can spot surveys as soon as they pop up
