Sixt Car Rental Kissimmee

I would just like members to be aware of a policy or scam by Sixt car rentals USA. I recently hired a Sixt car from a Kissimmee hotel. Arranged additional to my deal was an extra of $200 dollars on top of my bill to pay for toll roads. After a fair but of persuasion by the representative I paid this sum to cover toll roads in around Kissimmee and Florida. At the end of my holiday I realised I had only spent approx $25 -$30 Expecting to be refunded I was told this was non-refundable. In my research into this additional sum I found out that the sales adviser gets a good commission for over selling the need for this repayment. Sixt were totally unhelpful to this windfall to their profits.
Q Has anybody else had this problem with Sixt or other rental companies. What ever the result future intended hirers please be aware of this scam by Sixt.

I think the thing to have done was to roughly calculate what tolls you would be driving through when on holiday and from that decide if the SunPass was worth it. At $200 I think definitely not.

If around the Orlando area only I doubt you would spend more than $6-$10 per day, if that.  Further afield little more unless constantly using Toll roads over Interstate roads.  Last November we drove around Florida and over a week I think tolls came to less than $30.  

I have never ever come across a SunPass car rental costing $200, but then tend to only rent from Alamo, Dollar or Avis.
