Got to say I've been doing this for a number of years and find it increasingly helpful. Get paid into my oldest account, and then move money into others for bills, monthly spend.. etc.. helps me budget much more effectively than having just the one.0 -
This is linked obviously to Willing2Learn's poll and thread (on this main page of the Forum) about bank account plurality-----and it seems from that thread that most sensible people have between 4 and 8 separate current accounts. I have always found it a huge benefit to have different that number, some with the same bank, some with others, in order to keep spending in convenient pigeon holes.
But as I said earlier in this thread my Coutts accounts are the best by far.........0
