I phoned Amex and was told no fee to pay them, they also stated it can take up to 10 working days to be paid back into my current account. I wIll update you how long it does take.
  • We didn't have a problem. Just called them and asked for the money back in our current account. It was £14000 for a cancelled holiday.

Thanks for letting know, how long did it take to get credited back to your current account?

I got my Holiday refund from Nationwide they said it would take up to five days to pay it into my bank account and that is what it took.
I'm just waiting to see if Nationwide will take the cashback back, I suppose I won't know that until my yearly statement in January.

I have checked my cashback from Amex and they took £75 back straight away, so I would expect the worst and hope for the best.
