Package Travel Regulations and Refund Credit Notes

Hello.
Has the "Package Travel Regulations" refund for a cancelled holiday been changed from 14 days to another amount in the United Kingdom ?

Has ATOL now started to guarantee "refund credit notes" from Travel Agents.

The answer is 'no' to your first question but very shortly, 'yes' to your second

Apologies if posting in wrong section ! We have accepted a Refund Credit Note with an expiry date of 31 March 2021. If we are unable to find a suitable replacement holiday from this company, if we wait until after expiry date will we automatically receive a cash refund ?

You don't mention the name of "this company" so very difficult to give a definitive answer.

I would suggest you read the RCN details and terms and expect that it might be mentioned on those as to what options you have if you do not rebook and utilise the credit.  I also would not assume an automatic cash refund.  You may need to make an application to convert from the RCN to cash.

You should note the date in your diary and contact them at least 7 days before the payment is due, nothing is autonmatic
