Am I the only person who has noticed that Sky have doubled their recontract admin fee to £20 ?
What do people think about this charge - which they claim - we can't avoid paying ?

I believe it depends on what package you have, mine was only £10 and they wavered it because I was a loyal customer.

    Seems to be variable.
My "offer" when cancelling (which was terrible) came with a £20 admin fee.
Subsequent offers (one received via SMS chat, one from an email) had a £10 admin fee.
She would always like to say,
Why change the past when you can own this day?

Mine was quoted as £10, then the charge was actually £20 - this is, I assume, a charge for the broadband change, as well as the TV - 2 charges of £10.

I too am a loyal customer (19 years worth of loyalty) - but they refuse to waive it - trying to con me out of £20 at the same time as a considerable increase my monthly bills - what would you do ?

I would phone up again and ask to cancel, they will probably offer you a deal. If your happy to accept it say to them would they waiver the admin fee because you are a loyal customer. However it all depends on the advisor you speak to. Good luck.

I updated my TV deals a couple of months ago and they waived 3 £10 fees because I am a loyal customer (over 15 years).
