Just a thought... if HMRC already held your bank details would the payment go through quicker?

My friend applied midday Thu 14th, he can already see on his Starling account that he will get the payment tomorrow at 1am.

I applied on Wednesday 13th noon. Although the payment has not reached my bank account yet, it is showing as a pending payment in my HSBC account and due to arrive tomorrow 19th. I did not get any email from HMRC to say the payment is being processed.

Applied 8am weds 13th money in rbs account this morning ... no email or text from hmrc

Applied Wednesday at noon. Payment due to land tomorrow

Applied 13th at 7.30 am. Showed in online banking [FD] as 'being processed' on Friday am. Showing as credit this morning. No email or texts from HMRC.

Anyone with Lloyds Bank able to see incoming payments? I've never had this option, but I can see the other banks show when its gonna arrive the next day as pending

Lloyds and Natwest cant see incoming payments which is annoying
