    3 years isn’t a long time for a tv these days.  I thought Samsung had a good reputation.  

    If you talk to CAB they can confirm your rights and explain the best course of action.  You may be able to get them to write a letter on your behalf but this may take some  time as they are very busy.  This did work very well for us recently when dealing with a wayward electricity company.
